Rare Service
It is rare in this world that you get a committed no pressure complete home service such as McElheran’s. I have been a customer for many years – in fact both my previous and present home has been graciously furnished and decorated by Anne. Not only do they sell furniture, but they have helped me coordinate every detail of our home so that it eludes the formal tradition I love in some rooms, with the casual family atmosphere in others. They have helped me preserve heritage pieces from my family and ensured it has a touch of modern. Each and every staff member from sales to delivery greets you in a special way, and you feel like you are the “only” important customer on their roster. I highly recommend McElheran’s to all of my friends and colleagues for all of their home decorating needs- once a customer you will never want to deal with anyone else.

Interior Design Concern
When we decided to build a new home we were careful to select a top notch team to help us with the interior design as well as furnishings. We worked closely with Graphtec and Heredity Homes on the house design and layout and although the home incorporated the space we were looking for we were more than somewhat daunted by the size… we had nearly 10,000 square feet on three floors!
Our major concern was the interior design including, furniture and accessories. We were leaning toward the traditional and even a bit of French Country style and so we began our search for an interior designer. In the process we revisited McElheran’s Furniture because we had visited their store many times in the past and appreciated the top quality design and craftsmanship in their furniture. We met with Anne who asked all the right questions and before you knew it she was out visiting our home to understand the space. Soon Jeff McElheran became involved and over the next few weeks we had put together a furniture plan for the entire home. Anne and Jeff were extremely professional and knowledgeable and walked us through numerous options each step of the way. The result was we are enjoying a exceptional home that fits our style and for which the furnishings create the statement and the warmth that allow the entire house to come together in a very exceptional way. We are thankful for having had Anne and Jeff as our interior design influence and McElheran’s as our supplier of fine furnishings!”

I spent a lot of time about seven years ago looking for the perfect sofa and, after going through many stores, I finally found an amazing sofa at your store. I still love that sofa, and it still looks great despite getting lots of use. At that time I was happy to have been pointed toward your store by a friend, as I wanted to be sure I got the right look and excellent quality. As I looked through your store, however, I did feel that most of your inventory was very conservative, so I was happily surprised to find the design I wanted. Another visit a couple of years ago confirmed that same impression – beautiful pieces but still very conservative. Last week however I paid another visit to your store and noticed that both your inventory and your layout had changed – I liked it very much. There was a greater variety of furnishings throughout the store. The arrangement was more satisfying, and I was happy to see that the choices made were those that demanded second looks. Lines of chair legs that I’d never encountered before had me taking second looks. I was working on an interior design project and found several pieces that I felt would work – and I only had to visit one store on the list I’d made of stores I might have to go to… on a very cold day.
